He checks boxes…

Fills the event calendar.

For what precisely?

Has he ever posed such a question to himself?

How can he pose a question that never arises?

For he has been told that this is how life is.

On the surface, most things look normal.

Whole industries have been created in the name of these superficial findings.

Spirituality, religion, conferences, self-help…

Such things address something indeed.

What do they address?

A pattern in behavior.

Does behavior tell you anything?

No.

Should you believe me?

No.

I have nothing to offer.

When a man looks at his neighbors…

He sees mingling humans who seem to be happy.

Not a second passes

Before he thinks that he too must try what they are doing.

Understand this:

The clever mind seeks the benefit of things, not the totality.

And it is not what man shows to the outside world that defines his existence, but what he hides.

The source of his problems is the undercurrent of his daily existence.

Then why doesn’t he ever look there?

How can he look somewhere he has never looked before?

How can he look with so many fires to put out?

The evidence is out there.

He just needs to See
